Some very useful Windows 7 Tricks

Here's some cool windows 7 tricks that you should know.

• Extend the SEND TO option in the right click

 When we click the right click under the SEND TO option we see limited number of locations

To broaden the options with a number of other locations.

Hold the SHIFT key and then right-click on any file or folder and check the SEND-TO option

• Run any program with admin privileges

Sometimes in order to perform some task we need to run the program with admin privileges (common with command prompt) moreover there are a number of programs that work only with the admin privileges.

So instead of doing Right-click>Run as administrator

 Simply hold the CTRL key and the SHIFT key and then start the program, it will start directly with admin privileges.

• Batch Rename multiple files

Sometimes we come up with situations where we need to rename a number of files or folder. So instead of doing it one by one here’s a trick

Select all the files /folders and then try to rename any single file/folder, all the remaining files automatically gets renamed.

• Shortcut for Starting programs from taskbar

We all pin programs/files in the taskbar so to quickly start the program with a shortcut

Simply press the 

windows key + sequence number of program in the taskbar

                In my case VLC is in 4^th   so I’ll press win key + 4, Mozilla is in 6^th so win key + 6.

This will work only when you pin the program in the taskbar
