Make Bootable USB


This post will help you  make a pendrive bootable i.e bootable USB.
By making a pendrive bootable you can easily install/re-install windows, also this helps a lot if the CD-drive is not working.


PREREQUISITES:

      1. Image file of any Windows OS (.ISO file).
      2. UltraISO Software  (Click here to Download).
      3. USB Drive(4GB for win7 and minimum 2GB for Win XP).

STEPS:

      • Insert the USB and format it.
      • Open UltraISO with administrative privillages and browse to the Windows image file on your hard disk 
              " FILE >> OPEN >> [Select the .ISO file]
      • Browse to Bootable option and select Write disk Image.
                     
          " BOOTABLE >> WRITE DISK IMAGE
      • The Write disk image box will pop up simply select the correct location of the USB drive from the DISK DRIVE option.Now leaving all the default options unchanged click the WRITE button and a pop up box will appear confirm by pressing YES button .
      • This might take some time depending upon your system and after the process is complete your Bootable USB is ready to use.
